Turn a New Leaf

Spring is coming… I can feel it!  The air is fresher, the birds are chirping, the trees have buds, a skunk has inhabited the space beneath the shed, and pieces of metal aren’t shocking me any more.  …darn static electricity.

The arrival of spring couldn’t have come at a better time.  People typically say that a new year is for new beginnings.  To me, spring is the turn of a new leaf.  Spring is my new beginning.  This year especially.

Is it hard to tell my grandfather was in the bathroom?  Where’s the order?  There’s a little too much entropy up in this place…

It just hit me this morning: I only need to take one more class (and write a paper) to graduate.  Slap me silly, I’ll be done with my Master’s degree!  Will I go back for a JD or PhD?  Probably not.  The next time I hear the word homework better be in the sentence “I will never have homework again”.  Or “Uncle Wade, can you help me with my…”.

Wedding planning is going well.  Actually, I just can’t wait for the darn honeymoon.

Maui!

Excitement!  Oh, I am so going the classic, and quite cliché, route when in Hawaii.  I’ll be the one wearing the Hawaiian shirt, lei around the neck, Wayfarer sunglasses, and flip-flops.

Currently listening to La Roux’s La Roux.  I’ve been on a techno-80’s revolution kick lately.  La Roux really hits the spot.  If you haven’t heard this British electropop group yet, you’re really missing out.

Well, I should get back to work.  Work.  Bleh.
